Minimalism means living with less (with only things you need). It is all about less financial burden like no debt or luxury lifestyle. But the question is: is it easy to adopt such living? My answer is yes, it is easy. It is based on a budget system, and the key component of this budget is the following Use just one credit card. By using one card, you will not have to worry about your rewards, and you'll be clear about all the bills. You should have only a single checking account. In this way, it would be so easy to transfer money in the case of an emergency. In this way, you will not have to pay pesky fees, and there will be no chance of hacking.

Moreover, Minimalism is a word that carries a lot of weight these days. But Minimalism is not just about getting riding of your stuff. It is based on the "less is more" theory. Additionally, there are so many documentaries, books, and podcasts about Minimalism and its good impact on a person's life. It makes you debt-free and gives you plenty of time to work on your relationships. For minimalists, life is about spending only on necessities and getting rid of world possession. Although it is difficult if it is used for the proper purpose, it can benefit a lot.

Benefits of being a minimalist

There are multiple benefits of being minimalist. According to them, here are the following advantages of Minimalism.

· you won't worry about your financial state

· getting riding of unnecessary stuff

· you will find things quickly in your home

· spending more money on an experience than on the stuff

· you will become tension free and happy

· Go green

· work on the relationships to make them better

All of these topics along with much more are covered in my audiobook, "Minimalism & Hygge", which has already been heard by over 5000 people and with 187 positive reviews.

You can listen to it for free by clicking here, with the audible free trial.

Now let's talk about why one should become a minimalist and how you can do it? Here is way

1. Prioritize what’s important for you

Once you have done the decluttering process in your life, you will easily find peace and clarity in your daily works, making your life more peaceful and adding richness to your life. The Kon Mari process states that you need to physically hold a particular subject and notice if it sparks joy and notice that what the purpose of this object is.

Take notice of your daily activities and notice if they make you happy or not. So you need to keep a check and balance of everything.

2. Get rid of extra stuff

Almost everybody has something which they don't need. Minimalism means eliminating all the stuff which you don't need and comes in luxury. The famous minimalist Joshua fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus tried to aware people of Minimalism through their podcast, documentary, and worldwide tour.

However, it seems easy to get rid of things you haven't used for the last 90 days, but actually, it is not so easy. Sitting in my home, I can see many things that I don't usually use, but it's difficult to give them away because you get attached to them somehow. If you think you can sell your belongings, then you can earn extra money.

3. Choose a small living place

You can save money by living in a small apartment instead of a big luxury house. Moreover, studio apartments are even cheaper than 2_3 bed apartments. A smaller house also needs less furniture and utensils as well. You can use small Ac and heaters. In this way, you can save electricity.

4. Minimize the use of the internet

Nowadays, we have so many bills, so saving money became difficult nowadays. In the old days, there were no Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc. These factors also cause a financial burden. You could save a lot of money by not paying these internet bills. By not buying a car, you can also save money. So by cutting off these things, we can become minimalist.

Minimalism is about the rich white single person living. It becomes difficult for people with the less financial budget because you have to look after your whole family.

5. Bring in less

Yes, buying in bulk can indeed save money, but there are some drawbacks. If you are the only person, then the food can go to waste if you don't eat it regularly. Moreover, spices lose their flavour and potency with time. For example, if you buy cumin for one recipe and then don’t use it for months, it will go to waste. So being a minimalist, you can buy only things you need so there will be no waste of money.

6. Overhaul your wardrobe

People have been donating clothes for ages, and most people are very comfortable doing that. They do it mostly during the spring season. Consider following Project 333. After every three months, choose 33 items which may include your clothing, accessories, outwears, jewellery, sleepwear, underwear and workout clothing pieces. In this case, you'll find it quite easy to sort out your clothing items and you will end up wearing clothes which you love only.

7. Practice Saying No

Start practising Saying No in your life and preach it as well. You don’t need to feel bad for rejecting the things you don’t like to do.

You can also no say to parties that take away your major priorities from you. Thus say No to such things and save your time, positive energy and money.

8. Use it or lose it

When you are donating things, just focus on that if you are going to use these things again in your life or not. And after that, give it to your friends or family members, sell it or donate it to the deserving ones in your circle.

Minimalism is about having the right Things, i.e. expensive things

Quality over quantity is heard quite often. It's quite easy if you own one piece of a laptop so that you are not constantly worried that it will break off and you won't have any money to get it repaired. They are usually many people who keep boxes of extra laptops, or they're spare Parts.

Conclusion

As we all know, there are various benefits of being minimalist, and Minimalism holds great importance in life, but you don't need to quit everything in your life just to be minimalist. Instead, you can pick and choose what's right for you and what's not. If you make a minimalist budget, you would automatically get rid of the things that are just a luxury or hobby and not your necessity. In short, it will make your life more peaceful.
